ตลาดรถยนต์ในอินโดนีเซีย จะมีการแบ่งตามการขายส่ง (Wholesales) และขายปลีก (Retail) และอันดับรถยนต์ที่ขายดีที่สุดแบบขายส่ง ซึ่งในเดือนกรกฎาคมปี 2020 นี้ ธุรกิจรถยนต์ในแดนอิเหนายังได้รับผลกระทบจากการแพร่ระบาดของโรคโควิด-19 จนทำให้ยอดขายลดลงถึง 71.6% เมื่อเทียบกับปีก่อน เหลือเพียง 25,283 คันสำหรับการขายส่ง และยอดสะสม 7 เดือนแรก ลดลง 49.8% เมื่อเทียบกับปีก่อน เหลือเพียง 286,215 คัน โดยยอดขายรถยนต์แบบขายปลีก ก็ลดลงจากปีก่อนเช่นกันที่ 59.1% เหลือ 35,799 คัน ยอดสะสมลดลง 44.5% เหลือเพียง 326,393 คัน ซึ่งในภาพรวม Toyota ก็ยังครองส่วนแบ่งตลาดสูงสุดในตลาดแห่งนี้ แต่ที่น่าสนใจก็คือ ค่ายรถยนต์ที่ถือว่าเป็นค่ายเล็กๆในเมืองไทยอย่าง Suzuki กลับมีส่วนแบ่งเป็นอันดับต้นๆ คือเป็นอันดับ 2 รองจาก Toyota ในตลาดขายส่ง และอันดับ 3 รองจาก Daihatsu บริษัทลูกของ Toyota ในตลาดขายปลีก โดยมี Suzuki Carry เป็นรถยนต์ที่มียอดขายสูงที่สุดในตลาดขายส่ง
